PS.

I forgot to mention that I deleted my Facebook profile. It will take me some time to get used to the feeling of not being part of a social network anymore (at least a virtual one) and I will have to rediscover ways of connecting to people without being able to poke or IM, but it already feels much better. I spent too much time on Facebook, and I didn't like the way Facebook developed. The adds, the things people put on, I asked myself: "Would I want my daughter to be on Facebook? (I know, she's only 1, but time flies) " When I answered negatively, I wondered why I should be on Facebook if I didn't want by daughter to be on it. So that's it.

I have no desire to be on Facebook. I'd rather choose my friends than have them choose me!

Miss Teacha~ Great idea! We don't own a TV and we also don't have cable radio, just a few stations and that's it. What I need to see (news e.g.) we can watch online, and it makes life SO much more relaxed.

MMT~ That's true! It's interesting how some people add you as a 'friend' but IRL won't even greet you in the supermarket.

A great decision! I have never been on FB but, as it progresses, the horror stories are becoming increasingly common. Also, it can be a dangerous place for teachers to be.
